Mt McLaren Bulk Storage Depot

In 2022 we constructed a grain storage facility at 4422 Kenlogan Road, Kilcummin (Mt. McLaren). The facility was completed and opened in time for winter harvest, receiving the first load of wheat on 28/10/2022.

The facility has the capacity to hold 100,000 tonne of grains & pulses on 5 storage pads.

We have a 200 tonne capacity weighbridge which allows us to weigh a full triple road train.

Since opening the site has been well supported by growers in the district and grain traders Australia wide. This support is ever increasing.

Our depot gives growers and traders the ability to deal with an independent provider. We are flexible with hours during harvest and when outturning to accommodate both the growers and traders needs.

We have our storage, handling and packing facility in Townsville which provides customers with the option exporting through the Port of Townsville.

Triple road trains can be taken direct from Mt. McLaren to our Townsville facility and then onto the Port of Townsville.

The accumulation, out turn and storage of stock at our depot is managed by “Grainstor” and this program is also used at our Townsville facility.

Mt. McLaren grain depot has state-of-the-art grain testing equipment and permits segregation of different spec grain.
